The Vegan Option: Canggu

Finding vegan places to eat around Asia is easy, but it's even easier when you travel around Bali! Having so many plant based dishes already in their culture and knowing that tourists enjoy vegan dishes as well, you can find a big variety of options that are beyond delicious.

I definitely recommend anyone visiting Canggu to stay at Serenity Eco Guesthouse, to check out their yoga program, or to stop by the restaurant for a delicious meal. They have amazing vegan options, including vegan tiramisu! I'm a sucker for vegan tiramisu :P

The best places to eat vegan in Canggu

Peloton Supershop - A super-cool hip place to eat & hang out! It's a vegan cafe & a bike shop all rolled into one. The interior is very modernly-designed with fixed gear bikes used as decor throughout. The jackfruit tacos and the kombucha were amazing! Everything was delicious overall and the presentation was fabulous. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Canggu.

Banana Leaf Vegan - We found this adorable spot near the beach and came twice! They offer various Thai dishes and although we didn't find them to be as authentic as when we were in Thailand, we thoroughly loved the dishes! The inside is clean and bright and the staff is very friendly.

Green Ginger Noodle House - A quaint spot with many options and a fabulous vibe, including an outdoor meditative seating area. They combine flavors of Thailand, Japan, & Vietnam and have a self-proclaimed "Australian-style" cafe. Food was delicious and staff were really nice! It's all made fresh in front of you
