What is hypnotherapy and how does it work?

Hypnotherapy uses a guided state of focused relaxation to access the subconscious mind — where beliefs, habits, and emotional patterns are stored. Unlike talk therapy which works primarily with the conscious mind, hypnotherapy works at the source. You remain aware and in full control throughout.

Will I lose control or be made to do things I don't want to?

No — this is the biggest misconception about hypnotherapy. You are never unconscious, never "under" anyone's control, and you can speak, move, or end the session at any time. Hypnosis simply guides your mind into a deeply relaxed, receptive state — you remain the one in charge throughout.

Does virtual hypnotherapy actually work?

Absolutely — and many clients find online hypnotherapy even more comfortable than in-person. You're in your own space, fully relaxed, and already familiar with my voice by the time we begin. Sessions are guided through audio and verbal cues only. Every session is custom-recorded and sent to you afterward.

How is hypnotherapy different from therapy?

Talk therapy primarily works with the conscious mind — helping you understand and reframe patterns.
