Koh Phangan’s Destructive & Debaucherous Full Moon Party
September 5, 2024Travel Diary Days 7 – 11: Phuket, Lanta, Phi Phi, Tao – Thailand Island Hopping
September 5, 2024The Fashion of Yoga #4
Hey everyone! Our Southeast Asia trip is in full effect – you can follow along in the travel section of the blog. We’re currently in Koh Phangan, Thailand. So far, we’ve visited Bangkok, Paksong near Ranong, and many of the islands. And I celebrated my 29th birthday a couple of days ago here with my parents who are joining us for 10 days. Next up is Koh Samui.
I wanted to share some essential pieces that I brought along with me (although some were photographed in San Clemente, California). You can see daily pictures of our journey on my Instagram page (follow @rima_danielle). This edition of The Fashion of Yoga includes a mala accessory, yoga leggings from an up-and-coming brand, and more bikinis! Let’s check it out!
Look 1 Om Soul Shop
It’s difficult to put into words just how much I love this 3rd Eye Mala Crown, but I’ll try. I FREAKING LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!! I adore it. I’m absolutely obsessed. I wear it everywhere. I can’t take it off. I seriously feel like a goddess when I put it on. I don’t even mind that lay people stare at me – let them. They’re just overtaken but the sheer goddess-ness of it all.
Okay, in all seriousness though, I’m not exaggerating. This 3rd Eye Mala Crown from Om Soul Shop is my ultimate must-have item for 2016. I’m so stoked on it in so many ways. Here are a few of the reasons why I love it so much.
- The creator of this gorgeous product is a vegan goddess herself. I’ll wear whatever she makes so I may be biased but this mala crown goes above and beyond the call of duty.
- This piece is made with the traditional rudraksha (eye of Shiva) seed beads and a crystal quartz stone that rests on your third eye.
- From Om Soul Shop: “Crystal Quartz crystals are the supreme gift of Mother Earth. Even the smallest is imbued with the properties of a master healer teacher. Ancients believed these stones to be alive, taking a breath once every hundred years or so, and many cultures thought them to be incarnations of the Divine.”
- This gorgeous jewelry helps to balance your 3rd eye and crown chakras.

Look 2 MI OLA Swimwear
MI OLA Swimwear is quickly becoming my favorite surf bikini company and with good reason. Their suits not only stay in place for my active lifestyle, but they’re super flattering and stylish as well. It’s hard for me to find bikinis because I have an unusually large bust for my frame (it’s my Lebanese blood) and a super small booty (always have!). In addition to that, I need bikinis that I can surf in (I’ve tried surfing in my bikinis from Victoria’s Secret and they left me bruised from the underwire and hardware that they use). MI OLA’s swimwear are perfect for all of my needs, and I haven’t tried a suit of theirs that I don’t love (and appreciate so much!).
This set might be my favorite, but it’s so hard to decide because I love all of their suits that I have! I have two more bikinis to show you in coming editions of The Fashion of Yoga, so stay tuned for those pieces in the next couple of weeks or so!

Look 3 Zoetic Threads
Zoetic Threads is an up-and-coming yogi lifestyle brand that deserves your attention and support! Their designs exude beauty, spirit and life and are handmade in San Diego! I love the Mimic leggings that I’m wearing – they blend beautifully with this background, don’t you agree?
An added bonus is that Zoetic Threads is sponsoring my next yoga challenge with @yoga_warrior_goddess. #YogaQuickies Moon Salute starts February 1! Find us on Instagram to play along and win a pair of leggings from Zoetic Threads!

Look 4 Floridita Swimwear
I feel so sexy in my Floridita Swimwear. Today, when I wore this bikini after wearing another of theirs yesterday (the one featured here), my mom exclaimed, “Wow! One sexier than the next!”. Coming from her, that means a lot, because like all moms, she has high standards for me. Like I mentioned above, it’s hard for me to find suits that support the girls and don’t make me look like a porn star, haha! These designs make me feel elegant and supported, and don’t make me feel like I need to cover up. I love the bright colors and sequined design of the Bonita Springs bikini. Floridita Swimwear bikinis are fit for the girliest of girls, beauty pageant contestants, or yogis wanting to be stylish like me!
